that people, didn't give up, didn't think twice, they knew... for earning money they have to invest first, in tools, in a good hosting, in a good domain, in ads, in many other online resources to give their projects one identity, they've spent their time, for years, adding value to their communities and now they finally can see results, and no... you don't have to be gealous, you can achieve it too if you don't give up. Believe in yourself, in your ideas, in your capabilities & achieve it, build a bit everyday, little by little, piece by piece, be consistent because if you don't believe in yourself.. nobody will, don't regret in the future for not trying today, when you had time.
