With [XC] ExtendDragonBumpThread, admins can control bumping behavior, set advanced criteria for thread bumping, and introduce additional features like cooldown periods, specific user group permissions, and custom bumping conditions. The addon is ideal for forums that want to ensure active content gets attention while preventing spammy or excessive bumping in a way that maintains forum integrity.

  • Customizable Bump Criteria: Set specific conditions for bumping threads, such as requiring a minimum number of replies or certain keywords in post content to trigger a bump. Allow thread owners, moderators, or specific user groups to bump threads manually. Control which forums or categories allow bumping, ensuring that only relevant threads are bumped in the right sections.
  • Bump Cooldown Periods: Prevent excessive or spammy bumping by setting cooldown periods between bumps. For example, users must wait 12 hours or 24 hours before they can bump the same thread again. Flexible cooldown settings per forum or thread type, giving admins full control over how frequently threads can be bumped.
  • Bump Button Customization: Add or remove the “Bump” button from thread pages, with the ability to show it only to certain user groups (e.g., thread creators, VIP members, moderators).
